Parking in Bath during the Quantocks Symbolisum

Written by: Adrian Gilbert on Friday, June 15, 2018

Hi, just a word of warning to any of you who might be coming on the coach trip on Monday 9th July. If you have a car but are planning on leaving it in Bath till the end of the Quantocks event, you would be well advised to find suitable parking first. Don't leave this to chance. Bath has three, free, 'Park and Ride' car parks on the outskirts of the city. You can leave your car at these overnight (at your own risk) for the entire conference if you wish. There is a regular bus ...service from these car parks to the centre of the city, which runs from about 6.15 am with buses every 12-15 minutes. Bus Fare will be about £3.40 return, which is a lot cheaper than parking in central Bath.

I would recommend using the Park and Ride service as Bath City Centre car parks are expensive and traffic wardens very active. The nearest one for us is Odd Down, which is in the southwest of the city. Last bus back to the Odd Down Car Park is at 8.30 p.m. You may prefer, however, to use one of the other two car parks depending on from which direction you are coming. Please check the website below for details of fares and times of the last bus. Miss this and you will be needing a taxi to get you there.

Here are details of the park and ride service and the location of the car parks.
